What is Bullying?
Bullying is when someone purposely hurts or scares you either physically or mentally. It can happen to anyone and it happens several times on purpose. Oftenly people bully others because something is different about them wether it be their hair colour, height, skin colour.
If you are being bullied in person or online, then you might think that it's your fault. Never forget that it isn't !
Don't forget everyone is different and if we were all the same then the world would be boring !
Types of bullying :
Physical - Hitting, kicking, destroying or damaging personal belongings.
Verbal - Name calling, teasing or threatening.
Psychological/ Mental - Excluding from groups or spreading rumours.
Cyber - Using a mobile phone, the internet or other technologies to threaten tease or embarass someone.
Statistics :
* 77% of you have been verbally bullied.
* 24% have been physically bullied.
* 44% didn't report it or tell anyone.
* 40% say it made you want to self harm.
* 67% of your bullies are girls.
* 22% have been bullied and then became a bully.
* 79% regret it if you do bully someone.
