Bullying using Knives

Bullying using knives is now growing. Many bulllies are now carrying knives into school to not only 'protect' themselves but to also gain more power and control over their victims. Knife crime is constantly growing and violent crimeis currently up at 80%. Many innocent people are now becoming the victims of knife crime.

Not only are the bullies carrying knives but so are their victims. Victims carry a knife to protect themselves and hope that by carrying a knife their bullies will leave them alone and stop bullying them. It doesn't. By carrying a knife more people become afraid of you and see you as a bully and you can also get into a lot of trouble for carrying a knife. So many things can happen. Don't turn to violence, guns and knives speak out and tell someone. Only one person is then in the wrong and will be punished, the bully!

If you are a bully using knives then STOP! I can understand why it is that you may carry a knife ... protection. But honestly, is carrying a knife to scare and control people worth messing up your life and other people's ? NO! By bullying people with a knife you are put into the same catergory as others carrying a knife, a statistic, don't be peer pressured into doing it, stand up and show that you are a better person than bullying others with a weapon.

If you are a victim of being bullied by the use of a knife then tell someone straight away. I know how hard it can be to tell someone but no matter how scared you may be you have to tell someone. Tell your parents or a close family member. Get them to go with you and report it to the school, if you are in the same classes as the bully then tell them that you want to be moved. You shouldn't have to miss out on your learning and education because of a bully. You are a better person than they are. Report what has been happening to the police too. It is now ILLEGAL to have any sharply pointed or bladed instrument in your possession, in a public place. Don't forget just take that one step and speak out ... tell someone !
